13 Moons Mountain Sanctuary is a 46 acre wilderness property located at 10,000 feet in altitude between the village of Twin Lakes, CO and Independence Pass. Set back 500 feet from the road and surrounded by National Forest on all sides, this sacred place has been home to healing indigenous ceremonies for over 9 years. Undisturbed by humans, this raw piece of Mother Earth provides a nourishing energy field to come back to the medicine of nature and the Spirit that walks with you.
To know the Spirit that walks with you is to know sovereignty. This is the most important and intimate relationship you will have in your human life. Coming into resonance with your Spirit is the experience of wholeness, of purpose and of healing.
Spend 24 hours in silence with the support of Irene guiding you through movement, breathwork and meditation designed to help you clear out others from your field so you can tune into the sound of you.
Step into the forest with me and rewild yourself.

Peaceful Accommodations
Great care is taken to choose a quiet space in nature that allows us to take in the elements of our surroundings. Our location is a part of our collective retreat intention; providing us with a place to practice both inside and out. Private and shared rooms are offered to accommodate different needs and budgets.
Prepared meals
No prepping, no cooking, no cleaning. All meals are provided to supply you with clean nourishment for our journey. The gift of good food is something everyone deserves
safe community
Safety boundaries are at the foundation of all my work. Together we create a community of safety; listening to each other with open minds and compassionate hearts. You remain respectfully quiet when others are expressing themselves and when it’s your turn to speak you are held safely to say anything you need. If this way of communicating is new for you then come to retreat and practice it with us. Together we hold a mutual respect that we are all learning and doing the best we can.
Transference of Teachings
All my retreats have an overall theme or intention. Teachings about the theme are introduced through storytelling and dharma talks; then we practice movement, meditation, have events or go on excursions to embody those teachings. When you bring a philosophy into the body you are free to discover what it means to you and how you can apply that teaching to your life.
Movement and Meditation Practice
During retreat you will receive instruction on yogasana (yoga postures), pranayama (breath exercises), yoga nidra (yogic sleep) and various meditations designed for all levels of practice. The movement and meditation practices are safe for those who may never have taken yoga classes before and those with a well-polished practice looking for more. Depending upon the overall intention of the retreat you will experience varying levels of all these practices.
ceremony
The transference of yogic, polarity and medicine wheel teachings are a sacred matter best approached with honor and gratitude. Ceremony allows you to weave a stronger thread through the tapestry of understanding and integration held by a larger community. The teachings have been passed down from generation to generation and gifted to multiple cultures which allows you to receive them in a way that can alter your life in the best way possible.
The most common feedback I receive from retreat participants is that their lives will never be the same in all the right ways. With so much space and time to focus on your practice and the abundance of support present on a retreat equals deep shifts in beliefs, awareness and perspectives. These qualities of thought are what influences how you live your life in every way. The right kind of shift is one that brings more ease and less struggle in all things and one that opens boundless opportunity with a deep trust in abundance.
When you shift how you show up to your life, others around you can’t help but be influenced. Your personal and professional relationships can change in ways that allow for a more honest connection and clearer communication. This leads to a greater ability to co-create peacefully and successfully.
On retreats you learn through the experience of our movement, meditation and ceremony practices and then continue to have the space to process what you discover and the support to make sense of it. This amount of space and support allows you to take your learning to the next level, fine tuning your skills and polishing your perspective. The mind and your relationship to others is always in need of maintenance, like silver needs regular polishing to maintain its clarity and shine. The deep connection and reinforcement present on a retreat is a strong thread keeping you on track once home.
